Governing Council
Our governing council is a great example of the partnership between families/caregivers and our school, working together to improve the learning outcomes of all students.
John Pirie Secondary School Governing Council is a dedicated group of parents, teachers, students and community representatives who are working together to make John Pirie Secondary School great!
We hold two meetings per term in Week 3 and Week 8.
In our roles on Governing Council, we work with the site leader to:
- involve the local community
- develop and approve local policies
- set the broad direction and vision of the site
- monitor and review the site improvement plan
