Operation Flinders: Celebrating Student Resilience & Achievement
We held a special presentation ceremony earlier this week to celebrate the incredible achievements of John Pirie Secondary School students who recently completed the transformative Operation Flinders program.
These 10 students trekked 85km in eight days through the Flinders Ranges, participating in activities such as abseiling, bush survival and Indigenous cultural engagement. Through this journey, they demonstrated remarkable resilience, teamwork, and personal growth.
Deputy Mayor Alan Zubrinich and team leader Cam presented the students with certificates to commemorate this achievement.
Congratulations to Cody, Mitchell W, Noah, Stuart, Mitchell G, Tyreece, Cass, Doug, Brodie and Owen (absent) on this inspiring journey!
